Definition of the Lean enterprise and culture, understanding of customer, supplier, processes, problem solving, and continuous improvement. In-depth coverage of the 8 forms of waste. Starting point for novices and a great refresher for yellow and green belts.

The participants learn to identify, create, and communicate with visual signals. The course covers visuals, the 5Ss, Spaghetti Diagram, Red Tag, and walks the participants through a successful implementation of this Lean tool at the workplace. Many activities let the participants apply the new skills with guidance and debriefing. Your team is ready to take the first step.

Combined with Introduction to Lean and 5S the Visual Workplace we create a process map, identify bottlenecks, form a team, and get on the Gemba walk. Your team is guided in every step with daily start-up meetings, progress reports, and de-briefing at the end of each day. The team will track before and after measurements and prepare a report to the sponsor at the end of the course.

The material also covers event execution, waste walk, and a nine-step process through a Kaizen Event.
